Sailor Suits
The sailor suits (sera fuku, seifuku) seen in Sailor Moon are based on real life models. Uniforms are required at the overwhelming majority of Japanese public and private schools. Every school has its own particular style, and some uniforms have even been created by top Japanese fashion designers.
