Resources and Links

This section contains resources and links. I've tried to include material in this directory that is not only informative, but is also of historic and/or cultural interest to Sailor Moon fans, some of which is not generally found on other web sites.

Resources

Theresa Martin's translation of the Sailor Moon OP song, Moonlight Legend (Romanji-English).

Highly recommended is Maiko Covington's fascinating first-person account of everyday high-school life in Japan.

This is a press release highlighting the licensing and merchandising plans from DIC, the company that brought Sailor Moon to the North American audience. It's obvious they were hoping to duplicate BANDAI's remarkable marketing successes with the series. Needless to say, they fell somewhat short.

The transcript of a radio interview on "As it Happens", from 2/21/95, in which the participants discuss the as-of-yet unreleased NA Sailor Moon series. It's really hard to resist commenting on this dribble, but suffice it to say, it would be difficult to figure out what show they were talking about had it not been mentioned by name. Get out the Tums before you read it ^^;;

Ken Arromdee's Sailor Moon FAQ contains a lot of information about the series... mostly with a NA slant. Note that I have converted all the ROT13 text portions to regular text.

An article from the old rec.arts.anime news group. This brief, but very informative, Sailor Moon FAQ was posted just after the series debuted by Maruyama Fumitsuna.

Hitoshi Doi's Sailor Moon page, where you can find a wealth of info about the series.
