Sailor Moon Desktop Theme Kit This site features a number of original Sailor Moon items for your computer. To help you select a set of files you can use as a "theme" for your own desktop, I've put together this do-it-yourself page. This will make selecting the desired images and sounds as easy as point-and-click.
All you have to do is progress from one step to the next, and select the files you want along the way. Kind of like pushing a shopping cart through the market! If you need help, I've assembled a complete, illustrated help guide. You may either view this page online, or download it for offline study (47k). Brief descriptions of the files are presented along the way, but you may also click the "sample images" to view thumbnails of all images in that category, as well as to read additional information about them. Simply click the "Back" button to return to this page. |

Step 1. First, select a Start-Up screen from the following list. A Start-Up screen is the first image you see when you turn on your computer. The Windows logo with the cloudy background is the default Windows Start-Up screen.

Step 2. Now, select a Wallpaper file for your desktop. This is the image on which your icons will be displayed. Over 50 different from which to choose!
To use, first display the image of your choice, right-click the image, then select "set as wallpaper..." |
Step 3. Now, choose some sound files from the following list. You can associate these sounds with certain events, such as playing a particular sound when your computer starts up, or an error occurs, etc.
| |
Step 4. Next, select some icons for your desktop from this 56k archive which contains 19 original Sailor Moon-related desktop icons (48x48, 256 colors - see image for some samples). More Icons, kindly contributed by Leslie Ann Canales More Icons, kindly contributed by Sailor Mangus

Step 6. Next, select a "Please Wait" screen. This is the screen that is displayed while Windows is shutting itself down.

Step 7. Finally, pick a "Shut Down" screen from the following list. This is the image Windows displays after it has shut itself down, and lets you know it is safe to turn off your computer.

That's it! Now, all you have to do is install your files!
