Fan Fiction Submission Guidelines

Please read the following guidelines before submitting your works. Please read them carefully and completely.
If your work was not posted, you should perhaps re-read this page to determine why.

If you'd like to submit your fan fic for possible posting on this site, please be sure you adhere to the following guidelines:

1) Send complete stories only!! For whatever reason, it's become fashionable for people to submit multi-part stories. In all-too-many cases, these stories are abandoned after only a few chapters, and are never completed. Moreover, many of the so-called "chapters" that make up these stories are only one or two paragraphs in length. Pretty silly. If you must write a story with multi-parts, do not send it unless and until you have completed all the parts!

2) Learn how to format dialogue properly, for Pete's sake!!!

3) Your story will be rejected as a matter of course if it contains abbreviations instead of actual words (u, pls, ppl, etc). Don't try to get around it by saying you did it for effect, because we both know better.

4) Use a spell checker!!! Works with more than a few misspelled words (hey, we all miss some!) will not be posted. Period.

5) Format your story with proper spacing, and a blank line between paragraphs. Include the title of your story, your name, and a valid e-mail address at the head of your story, and each chapter, if it is a multi-part work.

6) There are a number of excellent books on style and usage. Buy one or two, read them, and keep them handy for reference as you write. A dictionary and thesaurus are also recommended.

If you can't, or don't want to follow these guidelines, then you'll have to submit your works elsewhere.

Please remember, for a variety of reasons, not every story will, or can, be accepted.

Your material must be based on the Sailor Moon universe.   Fanfics will be posted as received, so be sure to format your story as you want it to appear.   Submit HTML or TXT files only.   No hentai works.   Click here to send questions or comments.
