Secret of the Heart

Part 2: Soldier of Frestia

“Rini!!!!” Lita ran over to Mina. She set the small princess down. “Is Small Lady hurt?” They looked up and saw the Queen of Pluto, Setsuna.

She was in her Queen form. She bent down and faced the tiny body. “She’s only exhausted. Give her some food and water. She’ll be alright.

Uranus and Neptune are searching the Moon Palace for clues as to our new enemy. They seem to have taken over only part of the outer planets.

They must be concentrating most of their energy on the inner planets. Smart, our defenses are low and once these planets are taken over, in the

enemy’s mind I am speaking, they can easily take over the outer planets.” Serena came running over to the small group and the rest of the Sailor

 Scouts were behind her. “Rini!!!! My baby!!!!” she screeched and ran over to them. The rest of them followed and left one figure standing

alone behind them. Rini opened her eyes. She saw the figure despite the other people hovering over her. In a breath, she spoke one word.

“Auran……”

The scouts turned to face the now grim looking girl. Her free hair flew wildly in a sudden wind without any kind of elastic or bow to restrain

it. Her eyes were sad, yet strong. Her mouth was set in a tight line. “I am Auran.” She said and bowed to the princesses and queens before her.

They looked her over again and nodded. “My planet has not yet been affected and I have been sent to protect this area before the on-coming threat

reaches us. I am Auran, Soldier of Frestia, Keeper of the Valley of Light.” She held her hand up and a swirl of different colored lights swirled around

her hand. A scepter appeared in her hand. It was golden with a stone on top glowing with many colors. “Frestia Light Power!” She twirled and a

crystal appeared on her forehead and a golden bow in the center of her chest with a crest. It was the form of a heart and it had a tiny tear-shaped

jewel in the middle that acted like a prism. The rest of the uniform was silver except her skirt was also gold. Her hair stayed lavender and down her

back. Only this time, there were pearls strung through it. The colors faded around her and she started twirling slower and slower until she stopped.

She was facing them, her face still with the same grim expression.

Rini got up again. She faced the beautiful Sailor Scout. “Rini my friend. We must face the menace coming for us. They want something from us.

I’m not sure what however. We must ignore the Silver Crystal for a while everyone, as mad as it seems. I KNOW that that is not what they want….

It is powerful I know, don’t look at me like I’m nuts, I know what’s going on. I’m not an idiot. They want our power. What you people have neglected

is what the crystal really is. Just a crystal used to channel power. Don’t you people see? For example, when evil was looking for pure hearts. They weren’t

looking for any crystals. They were looking for pure hearts. Think about it. They were looking for power right? Well if the Silver crystal was that powerful,

why would they be stealing pure hearts? Because pure hearts are more powerful! The souls inside you are where your power is. In your hearts. The crystals

are ways to let out your powers. That’s why Sailor Pluto is so powerful too. She is of the underworld. Where souls are. Was that too much to absorb?”

The Princesses stared at her incredulously. After a moment of total silence, Rini spoke up. “I believe her. It’s true. It’s US that’s powerful, not stupid shiny

crystals. We are our own people, we make the choices. Let’s go fight whoever is trying to destroy us! Ummmm….what should I call you now?” Auran smiled.

“Sailor Hope.” The others got up and walked over to her. “We’re all behind you Sailor Hope.” Serena said. She nodded and they ran up to the one place

other than the crystal palace that had concentrated power. The Time-Space Gateway.

“By the power of Chronos, my father, take us to the Time-Space Gateway, owned by the Soldier of Time, Sailor Pluto!” Pluto lifted her staff and they

were teleported to the gateway. They were there. The bleak grey mists swirled and parted leaving the gateway in plain view. Sailor Hope and Rini stepped

forward. “Come out!” Mina challenged. “We’re ready to fight!” Jupiter shouted. “You chicken?” Mars taunted. “Face your fate!” Amy said forcefully.

“In the name of King Darien come out!” the outer Senshi shouted in unison. “Come out in the name of the Moon!” Rini and Serena said at the same time.

Auran then said “Come out in the name of the sister of Queen Serenity, my mother!! All the powers of the planets are facing you!!!!”
