My pen name is Rapunzel, a name assigned to me years ago by my anime-loving friends because of my long hair. I originally came from the Los Angeles area, but am now going to college in Northern California. My anime obsession started back in eighth grade when a friend of mine lent me her Ranma ½ volume to read on the way to Catalina. She later followed the volume up with several videos of series including Slayers, Yu Yu Hakusho, Fushigi Yuugi, and others. I blame it all on her.

I was introduced to fan fiction for the first time in ninth grade, but as I did not at that time have access to the internet, it was another year before I began to write any of my own. Since then, writing has been a hobby of mine. My current favorite series for fan fiction are Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing.

Currently, I am working on several fairly lengthy unfinished f! ics. Some of them will probably never be finished as I have left the fandom they are for. Others will be completed as soon as I have the time, or my muse gets around to telling me the ending (whichever comes first).
