Hello everyone, Sailor Infinity here, sorry that I haven’t gotten back to
you in a while.  Well thankfully my Sophomore year is over, it has been for
quite a while, and after I got out I had started to type a wonderful fifth
chapter for you all.  Unfortunately my laptop that I use for most of my
inspirations crashed and sadly deleted the whole completed fifth chapter. 
So here is the re-written to the best of my abilities fifth chapter. 
Hopefully you enjoy it.  Reminds you somewhat of the fifth book of Harry
Potter that everyone waited three years to get right?  Lol.  Well this is
the eagerly anticipated fifth installment of Sailor Infinity’s story.  Also
some new news for all of you.  Inspiration hit me while watching Sailor Moon
re-runs not to long ago, and already I have an idea for a new story line
called: The Moon Chronicles, so keep your eyes peeled for that.  The first
chapter should come out at the same time that the last chapter of this comes
out.  My deepest apologies for my tardiness again, hopefully you enjoy this.

Chapter 5: Geez, What A Grudge! Galatic Space Network, Our Prayers Our
Answered!
As they reached the temple the Sailor Scouts couldn’t help but be giddy in
anticipation for Raye’s new idea. Everyone de-transformed into their normal
clothes.  Raye could sense all the eagerness in her friends quickened paces
as they neared the temple.  She didn’t know how exactly to break it to them,
but she already knew that this was most definitely not a time for
celebration for this news would be devastating to the Sailor Scouts.  As
Raye thought about this her mind also brought it’s attention to the now
missing Sailor Scouts.  How would they be able to defeat this new enemy if
their ranks were in smaller numbers?  It was all just a matter of time
before Longhorn....she shook her head and with it brushed the thought away. 
They had reached the temple.
Raye gulped and as the other scouts filled in eagerly she dragged behind
ready to tell them all of their doom.  She glanced towards Amy who as she
madly typed away at the computer keys with a frightened look on her face
seemed to also know what was going on.  Raye was glad that at least someone
else had an idea of what was going on.  This way the news would not be as
harsh on everyone as she had thought.  The scouts had already gathered
around the table in the middle of the room, and Serena stood on it
bellowing.
“Listen up everyone, Raye has something important to tell us about the new
enemy!”  When the people at the computers didn’t look up from what they were
doing she screamed “ATTENTION EVERYONE!”
A few heads popped up, all were glum and tired looking.  Princess Fireball
looked as if she were about to collapse from exhaustion, and Trista had
developed bags under her pretty purple eyes.  Everyone else on the data team
looked exhausted as well, but eventually the message got to them and
everyone turned to look at Raye.  Raye’s feeling of dread loomed ominously
over her as she walked up to the table where Serena had called for
everyone’s attention.  Complete silence filled the room as Raye cleared her
throat and began solemnly.
“What I’m about to tell you isn’t going to be pretty, nor is it going to
help us out to much, but while I was on the field I had a vision.  It wasn’t
a normal vague one either, this one was incredibly descriptive, even more so
than the one that I had when Pharaoh Ninety and his minions came to destroy
our beautiful planet.  I know that you all think that Emperor Longhorn is a
cruel hearted man, but I think that I might have stumbled upon something
interesting about him through this vision.  As you all know, all of our
previous enemies have been cold-hearted evil people with no love in their
hearts.  Therefore we could more easily defeat them because we had the power
of love and justice on our side.  Well Longhorn’s different...as you all
know he’s quite powerful, even more so than Sailor Galaxia.  The thing that
makes him more powerful is not that he’s filled with bitter hate and
spite...rather....”  Raye paused eyeing her companions, pleading with them
that she would not have to tell them.
“Rather,” she said again sadly “his heart is filled with love.”
“WHAT?!?!”  A gasp from the crowd of Sailors echoed in the distance,
including Amy, which surprised Raye, she thought that Amy had knew it all
along.  Apparently not.
“But that just can’t be.”  Amy said, making Raye gasp in even more
disbelief.  “How can someone so cruel and mean be filled with love?”
“It must be twisted love, or something of that sort.  It can’t be pure
unconditional love, like Serena and I share, or one shared by Amara and
Michelle or Victor and Hotaru, and all the rest of us could it?”  Darien
asked his mouth agape.
Ray shook her head, surprised that Darien too hadn’t figured it out.  “No,
he does have that kind of love in his heart, for only one person.  The one
person that he thought would be able to make his dreams come true, and that
person is....”
“Me.”  A voice came from the door to the temple, everyone turned to face the
door and there standing as plainly as if she had been there the whole time
was none other than Sailor Infinity.  The Spy team had seemed to have
acquired temporary amnesia because they seemed shocked to see her there,
when not to long ago she said that she would show up at the temple.
“Sailor Infinity, how exactly did this all happen?”  Raye asked her,
“because I’m still clueless as to how it occurred, and how it’s possible
that someone filled with so much love for a person could be so evil.”
“I suppose it’s time that I told you all a thing or two about my situation I
guess.”  Sailor Infinity said, she was still in costume and she gazed at the
floor, her face in an expressionless slump, her multi-colored hair swaying
softly in the breeze coming from the open door.  “It happened a while ago,
when my sister first became an Infinity Scout.”  Sailor Infinity said,
remembering.  “During this time Royal Romance or rather Dan and I had just
started to realize that we both had crushes on each other.  On the day that
my sister had become a full-fledged scout, which didn’t take that long,
considering that she is a fast learner, Dan admitted his feelings to me and
we became a couple.  All of this did not go unnoticed by Tony.”
“Who’s Tony?”  Serena asked inquisitively.
“Tony or the Knight called Noble Nebula is.....” she paused, and took a deep
breath and blurted out “he is the person that we all now refer to as Emperor
Longhorn.”
“WHAT!?!?!”  An alarmed burst of yelps issued from every Sailor Scout except
for Raye, she had found this out from her vision.
“But how could a Knight, one sworn to protect his Scouts turn on everyone
and go evil like that?”  Taki asked Sailor Infinity, shocked out of his
mind.
“Jealousy.  I remember the day well when he first became Emperor Longhorn.” 
Sailor Infinity said sadly, “it was a brisk December night and Dan and I had
curled up by the fireplace by the front entrance to my palace.  We were
gazing at each other and talking so intently that we hadn’t noticed Tony
enter the room.  So when Dan reached over and kissed me for the first time,
he was there to witness it all.  I had no idea of his feelings for me before
this time, and Dan and I broke apart as we heard the door close.  Dan had
the idea that it was Tony.  He told me to go and talk to him alone, well now
that was the biggest mistake of my life I must admit.  Dan already knew
about Tony’s love for me, and felt that if I talked to him maybe things
would get better, but they only got worse.  I went into the adjacent room to
find Tony sitting in a comfy chair, his heads in his hands, he wasn’t crying
but he just seemed somewhat distant as he gazed at the floor.  I went over
to him, taping him lightly on his shoulder, and I gave him a hug.”
‘Tony, I had no idea that you felt this way for me, and I’m sorry that you
had to bear witness to that with me and Dan back there...I’m sorry...’ “I
had said to him, starting to pull my arms away, but he grabbed my arm
viciously and gazed into my eyes longingly.”
‘Amber, no Leaember....’ “He had started, but I stopped him since that name
is rather personal name and only my dearest loved ones are allowed to call
me by it.”
‘Amber is preferable.’
‘Amber then, well you don’t need that chump of a man Dan.  Why take him over
me?  What does he have that I lack tell me and I’ll make sure that I improve
for you.  I’ll do anything to win your heart.  If you desired an army to
conquer the world, I’d do it for you.  If you wanted me to build a mountain
in your honor I’d do it.  Reconsider it all, I will give you everything that
you ever wanted in life, all of your wildest dreams and fantasies will come
true, say the word, all is for you my love.  If you say no though, I will be
forced to leave this place as I have no other purpose for being here.’
‘Tony, as tempting as the offer is, I’m sorry but I’m in love with Dan. 
You’re still a great friend to me, and I really wish that you wouldn’t leave
us, we need you Tony, you’re a valuable member of the team, don’t leave us.’
‘It would be too painful for me to stay here with you and that idiot that
you call your only love, your sweetheart, your darling, your beloved.  You
two ‘send’ secret messages to each other through your heads every five
minutes.  It just.....you should love me....only me.....can’t you see loved
one?’  “He started getting a scary look in his eye as he held onto my hand
in a painful grip.” ‘Come away with me, I won’t take no for an answer, but I
think that you’ll still be unwilling, fine then, I’m going to leave, and
nothing you say will convince me to stay.  But trust me dearest I will think
of a way to win your heart, I will stop at nothing to get my way...you shall
be mine...I always get what I want, and you are the thing that I want most. 
I shall not fail, and soon you will be released from his evil clutches.’
‘Tony I think that you’re taking this a bit too far.’  “I had said as he got
up and started walking away from me, dejected, but a twisted smile had come
upon his face.”  ‘Tony........’
‘From this day forth I will not be called by my nickname, I will be called
Emperor Longhorn.  I will get that sorry excuse of a man to bow down at my
feet and you will be my Empress Amber, I will make sure of that.  I will
find a way to win your heart, and in the meantime I will conquer these
galaxies for you, I do it all in the name of love.  Maybe if I had more
power, then maybe you will fall in love with me.  It’s true that that stupid
Dan has more territory than I do...but all of this is about to change my
love.  You will see dearest, I will make an army of mass proportions,
composed of Sailor Scouts and they will wreck havoc and do my bidding, we
shall be the most powerful rulers together my sweet.  I will do this all for
you my love, you can’t possibly love him for his muscles, and his looks, and
his intelligence, I have all three of those qualities, most likely I posses
more of the three than that scum does.  So it must be the power that you
want....my love it shall all be yours, I shall do this all for you Amber.’
“He had said, and then he walked out before I had a chance to interrupt him.
  Then I realized that he had gone insane, I ran to tell Dan of the news so
that maybe we could try to help Tony before he got out of the palace, but it
was too late by the time that I had reached Dan, Tony had already left.  It
was so horrible, he sounded like he had meant every word too, but I never
got to tell him that power was not the issue here at all.  Power was never
an issue.  Power was merely an excuse that he used as a way to comfort
himself that I didn’t like him in that way.  There are many traits of Dan
that I love just because they’re a part of him.  I like a person for what he
is not how much power and authority he holds in the galaxies.  So I’m afraid
that I know what Longhorn’s up to and especially why he came over here.  He
as well as the rest of us had heard about all of you the Sailor Scouts from
Earth as well as their leader.  We heard that you were all real contenders
and had dealt with everyone imaginable under the sun.  Well I think that,
and I’m not quite too sure as of right now, but I think that Longhorn is
still determined on gaining a lot of power so that in his eyes all of a
sudden I’ll fall madly in love with him.  So unfortunately he’s gathering
you guys for his army that he will try to use to take over the galaxies.  He
sounds an awful lot like Galaxia, only his motivation is different.  I’m so
sorry that I had to be the cause of all of this.”
Sailor Infinity finished and she broke into tears and started crying “it’s
my fault that Hotaru, Seiya, and Yaten are gone now.  Tony’s probably using
them for his ridiculous fantasies...it’s all my fault though...if I had just
agreed to it all then none of this would’ve happened....but I would never
have been happy with Tony because I knew that deep in his heart his jealousy
and rage made him not the purest of Knights, nor did it really help him in
his quest to be the best Knight there ever was.  He was always so stubborn,
but I knew that if I left Dan then I’d be sad forever....it’s so selfish.” 
Sailor Infinity continued, sobbing and falling to the ground, it seemed as
if her legs couldn’t hold her weight anymore as she slumped downward.  “It’s
all my fault, all my fault, I’m deeply and truly sorry to get you guys into
this mess, and that’s one of the main reasons why we came here to this
galaxy, to stop Longhorn before he went to far.  I’m so sorry, I don’t
really expect you all to forgive me for being so selfish.....”
“It wasn’t selfish Amber.”  Serena said standing up, walking over toward
Sailor Infinity, who had been so distressed that she had de-transformed. 
“You did what your heart said was right, you decided to be with the one that
you loved.  Betraying your heart is like betraying yourself, and it’s doing
everyone a great injustice if you did that as well, I’m sure that everyone
around you including Dan would never forgive you if you went with Longhorn. 
Not to mention that you also came here to make things right.  You’re a noble
Scout, and we appreciate that you came over here.  Hotaru, Seiya, and Yaten
are gone now but we’ll get them back, because we always have to remember
that the good will always triumph over evil.  Tony just has the wrong
impression of love that’s all and if we convince him that there’s nothing he
can do to change your mind, maybe he’ll give up.  You’ll see I’m sure that
we can make everything better.”  Serena concluded, giving Amber a big hug.
“You really think so Serena?”  Amber asked her a smile creeping on her face,
after Serena gave her an affirmative nod, Amber lept up and thanked her
heartily.  “Thank you Serena, you’re as kind as they said that you would be,
so gentle and caring, I’m very thankful to be your cousin.”
Everyone looked up a bit bewildered.
“My cousin?”  Serena asked also shocked, but still happy at the news.
“That’s right, your aunt, my mother is Queen Exilfilia of Planet Infinity,
however before she dawned that name, her real name was Grace, and she was
your mother’s older sister.  She left the Moon Kingdom when she fell in love
with my father when she went with our grandfather on a business trip one day
to another planet, she met him there and then they got married and moved to
Planet Infinity.  This all happened when your mother was about 18 I
believe.”  Amber concluded, a grin gracing her beautiful face.
“Well there are quite a few more secrets that I have to learn I guess.” 
Serena said grinning, and she said “I’m glad that you’re my cousin too, and
despite the circumstances in which you arrived, I’m awfully glad that you
made it here.”  Serena said once again giving her cousin a great big hug.
After this, Amber sprung up into action, “Well the sooner we get this done
the better with right?”  Amber asked everyone, they nodded.
“Now I’ve basically told you all the information that you need except for
one thing.”  Amber continued eyeing the scouts.
“What’s that?”  Everyone asked curiously.
“I know a way that we can get to Longhorn, mind you it’s risky and you’ll
need all your strength but it’s the easiest way to get into his layer.” 
Amber said, “it took us a few days to decode the passwords and all for the
secret doors, and this is why we didn’t tell you sooner, because we already
knew that we could trust you since Serena and I are related and all.....but
we just needed to decode the passwords.  Now that they’re decoded we can
proceed to go and get back your friends and fellow scouts, as well as lost
loves.”  Amber said, casting a glance at the sulking Victor as she said lost
loves.  He looked up and gave her a weak smile.  “The only question left
is...”  Amber continued as she gazed at Sailor Moon’s Sailor Scouts eagerly,
“are you ready?”

Wow, Serena and Amber are cousins!  Isn’t that wicked cool?  And what about
this whole thing with the Tony, Dan, and Amber love triangle, this is a
quite interesting predicament that they’ve gotten into eh?  Now that they
know a way to get to Longhorn, everyone’s prepared for battle and all, find
out what happens in the next chapter of The Effect of Lonely Hearts, Chapter
Six: Longhorn’s Love, Longhorn’s Power.  This is where it gets interesting
don’t you agree?

P.S. I promise that Chapter Six will be here really quickly, since now I
have more time on my hands that it’s summer and all, the second semester was
killing me with papers and all...blah..but of course I still survived. 
Anyway Chapter Six should be here before the end of this month, and after
that there’s only one more chapter left to go!  I’m sure that you’re also
eager to hear more about the new saga that I have in mind as well, The Moon
Chronicles, well they’re on their way as well...so keep your eyes open, have
a great summer all and you’ll be hearing from me again really soon!
