Hi everyone sorry this story is so late, it's my first break of the year, I'm pretty busy, and I'm truly sorry if I kept you hanging for so long. Unfortunately, I injured my arm pretty badly today (don't worry it's not broken, ^_^, just a really bad sprain I believe and hope), and it is a bit painful to type, so I will only be able to finish chapter 3 which I had started on before but never got to finish. Chapter 4 may or may not be here until later, hopefully it'll be here really soon though. I've been waiting to write another story! ^_^. Hopefully you enjoy this story. Again I do not own Sailor Moon, however Sailor Infinity and her scouts (as well as someone else that you might be familiar with from my first story...^_^) are mine so please don't steal them!

~*Sailor Infinity*~

Chapter 3: Forever Young, Infinity Scouts meet the Sailor Scouts.

It had been a few days since Sailor Moon and the other scouts had met Sailor Infinity and Royal Romance. Not to mention the weird bad guy Emperor Longhorn. Darien had just gotten back from the U.S., he came back a few days later than expected, and Serena was hysterical, but everything worked out. Now everyone was hard at work trying to make a plan to try to defeat Longhorn. Not only that but they had to figure out what that thing that Serena saw a few days earlier was as well. The scouts had split up into teams to make sure that nothing suspicious was going on around the city. Amy and Taki made up the teams.

“All right people listen up, we’re going to have to split up into three teams to figure this part out, the first team is the spy team.” Amy announced to the group.

“You really don’t have to choose who will be on that team, they’ll probably volunteer, since spying is one of their hobbies. I can‘t even count how many times they‘ve spied on other people, or on each other for that matter, not to mention how they almost always get caught…” Artemis commented, while Luna and Diana sat peacefully on the bench.

“Hey no one asked for kitty commentary, nor kitty comedy today fur ball!” Mina and Serena yelled at Artemis, then they both volunteered for the spy team.

“Ugh…just as you predicted Artemis…” Luna whispered to her husband.

“Well someone’s gotta keep meatball head in line.” Rini said, and also volunteered for the spy team as well.

“Hey we’ll go too!” Lita and Raye said to Amy.

“Especially if there are any hotties walking around!” Raye said to Lita, who grinned back at her.

“All right that’s enough for the spy team” Taki said. “Now what about the analysis team? I’m on that one, I’m up for a little research, what about you Amy?” He said, giving Amy a quick wink.

Amy blushed and shook her head yes. Then she called out “anyone else interested?”

Darien raised his hand silently, and Trista also nodded a quiet yes.

“All right, I’m in too.” A quiet voice from the corner said, everyone turned to see Princess Fireball smiling, “I mean every bit of research we get is more beneficial to the team right?”

Amy nodded and smiled at her “okay well that does it for team number two, next we need a team to look for any clues outside about that bright light and loud noise that Serena and Rini observed. If I remember correctly a similar thing happened when Allan and Anne crash landed on this planet, not to mention when the Dead Moon Circus came to town, so there could be leftover remains of a spaceship, or even a whole spaceship lying around somewhere. Let’s face it we already know for a fact that Emperor Longhorn, Sailor Infinity, and Royal Romance are not from this planet, much less even this solar system.”

“We’ll go” Amara and Michelle said together.

“Me too” Hotaru said, putting on her best smile, “don’t worry I can handle a little field work!”

“Well if Hotaru’s going then I’m going to!” A voice from outside said.

Hotaru looked at the doorway, and there stood…

“VICTOR!” Hotaru said, and she ran towards him with open arms, he embraced her.

“Amara why didn’t you tell me Victor was back?” Hotaru asked, tears flowing from her eyes.

“You didn’t ask, besides he wanted it to be a secret.” Amara said and gave the little scout a wink.

“So I’m going with you, one more scout is always useful right?” Victor said to the team, and they all agreed.

“All right you can count us in too right Seyia?” Yaten said to his team mate. Seyia shook his head yes, somewhat sadly, but not enough for anyone to notice.

Taki and Amy nodded at each other, the teams were now complete, “all right everyone!” Taki said to the crowd, “let’s get to work!”

“All right!” The group replied, and each group went out to do their own thing.

Team One decided to look for any suspicious looking characters, the entire team had already dealt with suspicious looking creatures, many or most of whom were aliens, and it was not always easy to tell what the aliens looked like. The team walked around together casually, looking for anything suspicious, until they saw something that looked totally cool…a sale going on in their favorite mall. Of course they had to check that out first, the enemy would still be around when they got out! A few hours and a few hundred dollars later, the gals marched out wearing new gear, and carrying shopping bags in their hands…so as not to look suspicious of course! As they creeped around corners together, and looked around for about an hour, Rini finally noticed something.

“Hey gals look over there, that girl has really pretty hair!” Rini said to the older scouts, who all turned around and were surprised to see what they thought was…

“Oh my gosh! That girl looks like Sailor Infinity!” Mina said pretty loudly, and was stifled immediately by four hands over her mouth.

“Ah-ha, so super secret agent Serena has finally found you Sailor Infinity…hahaha! Now what should we do with her my fellow secret agents?” Serena asked.

“First lose the goofy accent goofball, and then we’ll figure out how to approach her…” Raye said to Serena, angrily.

They stared at her and the guy that she was with, who didn’t look a thing like Royal Romance, all the scouts noticed.

“All the other aliens that we’ve dealt with have looked something like their disguises, sure Sailor Infinity isn’t fooling anyone really…at least I don’t think so. But that guy looks nothing like Royal Romance, I mean he had red hair with awesome light red streaks, and those weird blue and red eyes. This guy has brown hair, and brown eyes. However he is pretty tall, just like Royal Romance...but that doesn't really help.” Raye noticed.

A girl suddenly came running up to the Sailor Infinity look like, she was a bit shorter with short black hair.

“Now who the heck is that!?!?!” Serena shrieked.

“Hmmm remember those figures that we saw in the background, those shadows that just watched Sailor Infinity and Royal Romance battle Emperor Longhorn. Could she be one of those?” Lita asked her friends.

“It’s possible that she could be another Sailor Scout too.” Mina said, “either that or you’re right, some mutant shadow person!”

“Well I’m not going to just stand here and watch I’m going to figure this whole thing out!” Rini said and started running off into the distance where the three people were standing.

“RINI! NO!” The team called out to their fifth member.

“We’re the spy team for a reason!” Mina yelled, “we observe not follow up on it!”

People stared at the four girls strangely, and they muttered their apologies on behalf of Mina, who was to embarrassed to speak.

Meanwhile team two was getting nothing on these new scouts, nor their new enemy.

“Alas all of this work for naught.” Taki said to Amy sadly.

“Oh Taki, it’s all right we’ll find something soon I’m sure of it! We just need more information, if the other teams find something useful, then maybe it will help us in our quest for useful information.”

“To think that our technology can’t even find the universes the Emperor Longhorn mentioned in his speech, they must be really far out, otherwise we would be able to track them down.” Princess Fireball said, she couldn’t believe how many flaws her alien technology had.

“There are no time records of them either, past, present, future, it’s as if they never existed and never will exist. But we couldn’t have imagined the whole thing, definitely not!” Trista said to the group, she had just come back from her time gate, exploring records and records of data in a matter of seconds, and still nothing.

“Hey cheer up guys something’s bound to show up sometimes, and like Amy said once the others come up with more information, then we’ll be able to find out more about this new enemy.” Darien said to the group, he had been filled in about it not to long ago, and was still saddened by the fact that he hadn’t been here to protect Serena.

“You’re right Darien, thanks buddy.” Taki said to his friend.

“No problem.” Darien replied.

Team three was having the same luck as team two, nothing at all, they had searched most of the private and deserted places around town. Still nothing, they knew that they had not imagined the whole thing though. They decided that they should take a break for now, they would just split up, and walk around a bit more, looking for suspicious objects as they went around.

Hotaru and Victor went to the park, Amara and Michelle went to an old town, that hardly anyone lived in anymore. Yaten and Seyia went to the now has-been amusment park that everyone had seen over a million times by now, and were tired of it.

Yaten and Seyia went into the amusment park, looking for any clues that would help the team. They went on every ride, including the Ferris Wheel so that they could see the whole park from up high. They rode it separately, one on a lower part of the wheel, the other on a higher part of the wheel, so that they wouldn’t miss a thing. Still after riding the Ferris Wheel 52 times, nothing was to be found, not a clue of Longhorn, and not even a penny left in their wallets. The two boys groaned unhappily and walked out of the park to go look for Amara and Michelle. Seiya still seemed incredibly down, Yaten noticed it only a bit. He then turned to him.

"Seiya, what's wrong with you? Are you feeling okay? Did you eat something bad?" Yaten inquired.

"No...it's nothing." Seiya said to his friend, a bit of sad anger hinting in his eyes.

"Now I can definitely see that there is something bothering you, what is it?" Yaten asked his friend.

Seiya knew that there would be no end to the questions so he replied with the single thought of the one and only person he had on his mind. "Serena."

"Seiya for the love of the stars will you stop thinking about that girl. She is in love with her boyfriend, besides we could never...you could never...just forget about her all right!" Yaten yelled at Seiya, who was about to cry, but he held back his tears.

"ENOUGH OF YOUR CHATTERING! I am the leader of the Starlights, and I will do as I please, I don't need your commentry on my problems. Why do you think that I didn't want to tell you about my problem." Then Seiya started walking off into the distance.

"Seiya...look I'm sorry it's just that..." Yaten said looking down at the ground, not realising that his teamate was leaving him. He glanced up and saw the retreating figure in the distance. "Seiya, YOU IDIOT we're supposed to be a team, stop doing this! Don't run off, we don't know what's out there..."

Seiya kept on running, finally letting the tears flow down his cheeks.

"Seiya!" Yaten said and started running after him.

Seiya stopped when he reached a wooded area, a new place that they had yet to look in. He sat by a tree and continued to weep while he listened to Yaten's far off cries of "SEIYA!"

He looked down at the ground and said to himself aloud, "no one understands how I feel...no one."

"Yes there is someone who understands and shares your pain..." came a female voice from above him.

Seiya looked up to see..."Serena?"

Amara and Michelle had barely any luck either, it was surely a ghost town, not a trace of people, and barely any buildings in the area. They searched for an hour, and still nothing around. All hope seemed to be lost, as Michelle was just about to give up, but Amara, strong willed and obstinate, kept on searching the town. Amara re-checked empty buildings, looked in spots that had weird markings in the dirt, everything that she could do, but still no luck.

“Hmm, it’s a ghost town so a spaceship shouldn’t be that hard to find if it was here!” Michelle said to Amara while unhappily placing her hand on her chin. She was trying to think of other possible locations that a spaceship could be found in.

“Michelle,” Amara said, softly touching the arm of her partner. “I know times are rough, battles are many, and breaks are fast and few. However we still have to do our duty, ghost town or not."

"Right...Neptune Crystal Power!" Michelle said and turned into Sailor Neptune.

"Uranus Crystal Power!" Amara said and turned into Sailor Uranus.

"Now let's go Neptune!" Uranus said to her partner.

"All ready ahead of you partner," came a voice from the background, the two sailors looked up to see the one known as Emperor Longhorn standing above them.

Hotaru and Victor all the meanwhile had finished looking for clues, it had been an hour or so, they decided that it was time for a break. Victor sat down on a bench and motioned Hotaru to come and sit with him, she did and they sat peacefully to watch the moon and stars together.

"Look Victor, there's Saturn, and all of my planet's moons where my guardians live." Hotaru said to her boyfriend, he smiled at her.

He looked her in the eyes..."you're so sweet Hotaru, and that's why I love you so much."

Hotaru looked so happy as tears of joy started to form in her eyes, "and I love you too Victor."

Victor then tilted Hotaru's head up, and he passionately kissed her. Suddenly Victor smelled smoke, he turned around and saw a red cloud of smoke right behind the bench.

"That's strange. I'll go investigate, you stay here Hotaru."

"No Victor, I can't leave you."

"No Hotaru, I must protect you, I won't let anything happen to you. You're to precious to lose, I don't know what I would do if I lost you." He said sadly looking at Hotaru. "Now I'm off."

"I understand, be careful my love." Hotaru gave Victor a kiss on the cheek, and he charged towards the red smoke. Hotaru sat on the bench humming to herself, she looked down at her hands that were neatly placed on her lap. She smiled as she thought of Victor, then she looked back down at her hands again, the whole lower half of her body had started turning into stars and dissolving in the bench.

"VICTOR!" Hotaru screamed, she was about to call out to her power to help her, but by that time it was too late.

Victor came running back as fast as he could, "oh that clever little maniac, the smoke was only a distraction, Hotaru my love I'm coming!" He cried, running at full speed, not even turning into his knight form. "I'll hurt him with my bare hands, the power of my love will defeat any enemy. Sailor Moon taught me that, and that's how I know I shall win. I swore I'd protect Hotaru, and that is what I will do!"

He got back to the clearing just in time to see Hotaru's head, slowly turning into small stars and dissolving into the bench.

"Hotaru!"

"Victor," were Hotaru's last words as she completely dissolved into the bench.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Victor screamed, "My beautiful princess Saturn I will save you if it's the last thing I do." Victor said, and looked at the moon, it was on, the battle was on.
