As Princess Rini was sitting by her window, she saw a yellow light racing at breathtaking speed towards her. “What in the…” she thought. When the yellow light came up to her, she was the most surprised she had ever been in her whole life.

“Helios!!!!” Princess Rini shouted. “You came back for me??????” she asked. “I couldn’t live without you,” Helios explained. “I can’t live without you either,” Rini replied.

Rini jumped into Helios’ waiting arms with tears streaming down her face. “I was so stupid, foolish, dumb, ignorant,” she rambled. Helios put his hands to her lips and wiped away her tears. “It’s alright now, we’re together,” Helios said. “I told you I’d always be here to help you, didn’t I?” Helios said knowingly. Rini smiled for the first time in a long time.

After Rini stopped crying, she finally noticed Helios’ golden wings. “Helios?” she inquired. “You have…wings?” She gazed at them in awe. “They are so wonderful!” She exclaimed. “Would you like a ride?” Helios queried. “Can I?” She requested. “Let’s go,” he said. Rini put her arms around his neck and held on tight. “Don’t let go,” he advised.

“Wow,” Rini said as she was in the air. “This is amazing.” As Helios swooped down in a vertical drop, Rini clutched tighter and closed her eyes. “Don’t be scared Rini, I’ll never let you go,” Helios confirmed. Rini opened her eyes and hugged Helios tighter. Together they were one, flying swift upon golden wings.
