After the battle the girls departed. Aquarius, Capricorn and Virgo were all eager to see their families again. They were the first to go, but they were sad to leave their new friends behind. Pieces promised to visit them every once in a while. The morning after they arrived home Aquarius went to see her boyfriend, Gaeto. She could hardly contain her excitement.

Aries was the next to leave. Her loyal friends, Gemini Major and Minor, left with her, but she did give them the opportunity to leave her service if they wished. Eventually Aries married her prince, but before that they shared at least couple of years just as friends.

Libra also returned to her kingdom. Three years afterwards the Queen, decided to pass the crown to her daughter and retire. Libra's first act was to disband the Council. She contacted some of her old allies and asked them if they would join the new council she was setting up. Sailors Scorpio, Pieces, Sagittarius and Taurus all accepted her offer.

Sagittarius left her home on the Dream Plane and returned to reality for the first time since she was a child. As already stated, she joined Libra's council. She was assured by Virgo that she, Aquarius, and Capricorn would check on the unicorns every once in a while.

Leo and Psyche went back to their home planet. Leo began studies to become a priestess, although it would be years before she could be initiated into a temple as one. There were rumors of a secret romance between Leo and Psyche, but the only ones who knew the truth were Scorpio and Taurus.

Cancer went back to the Dark Zodia Dragon Clan and assumed control. She withdrew all the armies as soon as she could, and then began to turn the clan around. She set things straight with the other planets or individual kingdoms that the former Mistress had attacked. After everything was in order she gave control to a trustworthy and goodhearted woman who had been one of the leaders of a rebellion that took place many years earlier. Chi and Cancer gave Aquarius and Capricorn a brief visit, and neither of them was heard from after that.

After the battle the girls' silver star pendants disappeared, but none of them seemed to notice. It was one less bad memory. The duty was passed to another generation a thousand years in the future, and the universe was safe until then.
