Shelly, Lee and Bella opened their eyes and couldn’t believe what they saw.  The girls were standing together in a lake of water.  They were alone.  The water seemed endless.  It was a dark blue and only went just above the girls’ ankles.

“Where are we?” asked Lee.  The two others shrugged their shoulders.

Lee looked around and saw something.  It looked a lot like someone she once knew.  Lee then followed the person leaving the other girls behind.  Bella and Shelly were too busy to notice.

Lee stopped chasing the person and looked at her communicator.  It was all fuzzy and not working.  “Mojo?” she asked it.  Nothing.  “Where is that kuro neko when you need him!” Lee yelled to herself.  She then noticed she was alone.  “Great, now where am I?”

After a few seconds the water started to turn into big waves under Lee’s feet.  The waves became too much for her and knocked her to the ground.

When Lee opened her eyes she was remembering something.  She was in a high school swim meet.  Lee of course won.  She always won in high school.  This was before Lee competed with Kelly and Shelly.

After the meet Lee left the pool and spotted a red-haired boy.  “That was very good.” He said to Lee.  Lee knew him as the rebel of the school.  The boy was known around the school as Boots, his real name was John.

Lee looked at him and said, “Uh... thanks.”  She didn’t know what else to say.  Boots waved and walked away.  Lee watched him get on a motorcycle and leave.  “Thanks, you are an idiot Lee!” Lee yelled at herself.

Lee had a crush on Boots ever since his family moved to Japan when they were kids.  She knew that Boots didn’t know she was alive, but it didn’t seem to matter.  Lee stopped worrying about how dumb she looked and headed for home.

Lee spent the night studying, which is what she always did.  Lee wanted to be a teacher ever since she was a little kid.  She just loved the thought of teaching others what she already knew.

The next day at school Lee saw Boots.  He was dressed in all leather.  Lee just laughed.  He wasn’t wearing his school uniform, which was black.  Lee walked over to him and said, “Nice uniform.”

Boots couldn’t believe the smartest girl in school would say such a funny thing.  “Well, it is still black.” he retorted.  Boots and Lee laughed for a moment, when the school bell rang.

“Oh, I’m going to be late!” Lee shouted.  She turned to run, but Boots grabbed her arm.

“Is school that important?  You can stay with me for a while.” What he said stunned Lee.  Did Boots really know who she was all along? Did he feel the same way?

Lee contemplated it for a second.  “No, I’ve got to get to class. I’m sorry.” Lee winked at Boots and then ran to class.  She nearly fainted once she got there.  Boots wanted to talk more with her.  Her dream was coming true.

After school was over for the day Lee walked home.  She hadn’t see Boots the rest of the day.  A few kids walked past her saying, “Did you hear about Boots?”

            The other asked, “No, what?”

“He didn’t wear his uniform today.  Which isn’t too bad but together with all the other things he has done, they kicked him out.” Once that was said the kids were gone.  Lee’s heart sank to her knees.  Would she never see him again?

Lee was right, after Boots was kicked out she never saw him.  It wasn’t until he became Bootes the Herdsman that she was reunited again.  Bootes didn’t even seem to remember her.  After that Cleo and Boots became a couple.  Lee gave up and knew he was not the one for her.

Lee opened her eyes and stood back up.  Standing in front of her was Boots.  It wasn’t Bootes the Herdsman, but Boots the school delinquent.  He was even wearing his school uniform.  Lee’s mouth dropped open.

“Well, hello Lee.  If only you had stayed with me that day.  Maybe I’d be with you and not with her.” he said to Lee.

“I really don’t care.  Cleo is more right for you.  Besides, I have far too many other things to worry about then a boyfriend.” Lee yelled at him.

Boots frowned.  “Yes.  What with school, the swim team and being a sailor senshi I guess you don’t have time for me.  Just like you didn’t have time for me in high school.  But I have a way for you to get out!  You can die!” Boots ran to knock her to the ground.  Lee blocked his punch and kicked him in the chest.  He fell to the ground because of the blow.

“You forgot to say Martial Arts!  Don’t try that again!” Lee shouted at him.  What no one really knew about Lee was she had learned different Martial Arts since she was small.  Her father had taught her without her mother’s permission.  This made Lee keep it a secret.

Boots stood back on his feet and smiled.  “Okay, dodge this!” Boots threw a ball of electricity at Lee.  It hit her and surrounded her.  The pain was great.  Lee fell to the ground.

This angered Lee.  “You aren’t Boots!  Pisces Crystal Power!” she shouted.  Yellow water surrounded Lee.  She became Super Sailor Pisces.  Her uniform was now different.  Her broach was still a star, but now it had her sailor crystal inside of it and the Pisces symbol on the outside.  The gem in her tiara was now a star.  Around the bottom of her skirt had a blue stripe.  The back bows grew longer.  Pieces’s sleeves now had transparent parts.

“That won’t be enough!” Boots once again threw a ball of electricity at Pieces.  It hit her and forced her to the ground.  Pieces was getting very upset.

“Pisces Whirlpool Punch!” Pisces used her new power.  A whirlpool of water formed in front of Pisces.  This water then punched at Boots.  It knocked him to the ground and he disappeared.

Pieces looked around and said, “Well, that wasn’t too hard.  Now how do I get home?”  Just at that moment yellow light surrounded her and she was gone.
