Where’s Annie?

By Wendy Olson

Where’s Annie? That question has been asked a lot lately. I guess I better tell you where I am. This chapter is told by me: Princess Andromeda the heir to the Constellation Alliance’s throne.

For summer break I went home to Athens, Greece. During the long lonely summer nights I had a reoccurring dream. It was of my mother Queen Cassiopeia. I saw her sitting on her throne.

"My darling daughter if we are not successful in reclaiming the Horoscope Stone then this is what to do. Circe, an evil sorceress, was exiled on the island Aeaea. Find her and she will know what to do." My mother had told me.

"Yes, mother." I agreed. That was the dream.

I found her not to long after that. She was hidden deep within a mountain on a small island.

After Circe changed Sailors Cancer, Sagittarius and Taurus I went back to her mountain hideout. I carried with me a small red fox. He didn’t look at all happy.

I went to a room where Circe kept strangers who found her lair. The room had cells. The cells were guarded by half pig half men. She turns men into these once she is done with them.

I put Perseus into one of the cells. He ran around trying to get out. "Please, try and stay calm. I will ask Circe to change you back if you do so." He stopped and looked at me sadly.

Circe walked in at that moment. "Well, I see you couldn’t let him be. Let my animal curse be broken." Once she was done speaking red smoke came from her staff and covered Perseus. Soon the little fox became the man I had fallen in love with.

"Andromeda! How could you? The sailors brought you back to life. You owe them." He yelled at me.

"I see you have a little talking to do." Circe then turned and left.

"I want to be a sailor and with the help of Circe I will." I argued.

"How can she make you a sailor? You are either born with a Sailor Crystal or you’re not. You can’t just get one any time you wish." Perseus argued back.

I looked down at the floor and thought for a moment. Should I really tell him my plan? What if he gets away and tells the sailors? I looked up into his blue brown eyes and smiled. "Once I get the Horoscope Stone I will become Sailor Horoscope."

"Sailor Horoscope? I really don’t think there is such a thing. She is fooling you! What does this Circe get from all of this?" He asked me in a harsh voice.

"I will use the Horoscope power to make Circe a constellation. It is all she has ever wanted." I told him.

Perseus walked over to where I was and put his hand through the bars. He touched my shoulder. A chill went up my arm and down my spine. I turned to face him and said, "I love you."

"I know you do. And if you really love me then you will listen to me. The Horoscope Stone does not have the power to make you a sailor. Sailors are only sailors if they have a Sailor Crystal. Please call this off. Turn the sailors back." He whispered to me. His hand was still on my arm.

A tear slid down my cheek. What if he was right? "Do you love me?" I asked him.

"I’m sorry Andromeda. You know who my heart belongs to." He took his hand off my arm. I began crying softly to myself.

I ran off to where Circe was. It took me a while to find the right tunnel. I’ve gotten lost on many occasions. This place is like a maze of caves in a mountain. I found her outside the lair. She was singing to a few small birds. "What is the matter my sweet?" Circe questioned once she saw me.

"I hate Wendy! He loves her and not me. Why? I am so much prettier than she is? I just don’t understand why?" I yelled through tears. She hugged me as I cried onto her shoulder.

"I can make those tears go away. Come with me back to the cells." She stood and beckoned for me to follow. Circe found the right tunnel right away. She’s lived here so long she knows where everything is.

"Well, well. It’s time you saw the truth in Princess Andromeda." She said to Perseus once we were back in front of his cell.

"You can’t make me love you Andromeda. Me heart will always be with Wendy." He coldly said.

"Your true loves call you will no longer hear.

For me you will only fear.

Loves face that you see

Will forever and ever be

Andromeda!" Circe said her spell as red smoke came from her staff. The smoke surround Perseus. Soon it was in his eyes. He eyes became blood red. Perseus blinked once and his eyes stayed red. Also his star crystals turned red.

Perseus then fell to one knee and said, "Princess Andromeda I love you."

I opened the cell and let him out. He hugged me and then we kissed passionately. I could feel the warmth of his embrace around me. I laughed inside my head and thought, "My dreams are coming true!"

Circe looked at us and said. "Okay, only two to go!" I nodded my head yes. My smile was very big.

To be continued in "Two to Go."
